Mr. J. Freedley Hunsicker is senior counsel in the Philadelphia office of Fisher and Phillips LLP. Freed has an extensive practice in disability discrimination including both litigation and counseling, and, among other areas, has focused his practice on the areas of higher education, health care, and the service and manufacturing industries. He has published extensively, and lectured, on the ADA. His articles have appeared in The Journal of Law and Education, Personnel Journal, Focus Magazine, The ABA Journal, The Legal Intelligencer, The Hospital Personnel Reporter, and The New Jersey Law Journal. Freed combines his understanding of disabilities and employment law with years of experience in state and federal court litigation, as well as administrative proceedings, defending employers in cases alleging disability discrimination, race, sex, age, sexual harassment; defamation; and wrongful discharge. Freed earned his B.A. from Yale University and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He also has experience with secondary boycotts and construction industry labor disputes. Freed is regularly named inBest Lawyers in America and Who’s Who in America. He is co-author of NLRB Remedies for Unfair Labor Practices (2d ed. 1986) (University of Pennsylvania Wharton School, Industrial Research Unit).
