Dr. Jeffrey Holmes has more than 20 years’ work experience in higher education. Dr. Holmes served as the senior director of Community College Partnerships at Bellevue University. In this role he supported the Community College Completion Agenda by providing comprehensive online degree programming aimed at providing opportunities for community college students from all geographic regions to complete their associate degrees, transfer, and earn bachelor degrees from home. Additionally, Professor Holmes teaches and is the principal investigator for a new study of two-year colleges on-line practices. Dr. Holmes has direct executive experience providing guidance relating to: athletic compliance and academic performance, NCAA regulations, transfer for student athletes, personnel and employee resourcing−including benefits, compensation, employee relations, compensation, employment, performance management, and records. He is also experienced in: athletic mediations, preparing resolution agreements, national and international recruitment, contract negotiations, etc. He has an expertise in ADA/ADAA issues, public-private partnerships, strategic planning, organizational development, and student success and instruction. He earned his doctorate in educational administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
