Julie Autumn Luster has worked with sponsored research projects and higher education organizations for more than 12 years spending. Julie earned her master of accountancy from Rider University and her baccalaureate degree in journalism and speech communication from the University of Richmond. She began her sponsored research career as an external auditor for KPMG auditing universities, the State of New Jersey, and other nonprofit organizations. Julie worked as an internal auditor focused on sponsored research at Princeton University where she collaborated with pre- and post-award offices as well as department management to analyze compliance requirements, develop monitoring tools, and assess award management. She joined Rider University a year ago as its grants manager to operationally oversee and administer grant and restricted awards. Julie has previously delivered presentations internally at Rider and Princeton as well as externally for the National Council of University Research Administrators, the Association of College and University Auditors, and the Institute of Internal Auditors (Philadelphia chapter). She is a certified Government Auditing Professional.
