Lorie Maring is an attorney with more than 20 years’ experience in the employee benefits area and is a member of the Employee Benefits practice group in the Atlanta, Georgia office of Fisher & Phillips LLP. She assists clients in providing timely and practical counsel and training with both retirement and welfare plan issues. Lorie regularly advises clients on the Affordable Care Act and has presented numerous seminars for employers, benefits consultants and HR professionals on how to stay in compliance with the changing health care reform landscape. Lorie also has significant experience in plan drafting, compliance advice, fiduciary counseling, MEWAs and retirement plan issues, including EPCRS corrections and QDRO administration. Lorie is a member of several employee benefits organizations including Worldwide Employee Benefits and Women in Pensions. Ms. Maring received her J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina’s School of Law and has been a member of the Georgia Bar since 1991.
