Sheryl D. Hill is an award-winning author, speaker and founder of Depart Smart dba ClearCause Foundation, as seen on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox News, and in the Washington Post, Saturday Evening Post, Huffington Post, Newsweekand more. Her family has hosted eight international students for more than 12 years. Her sixteen year-old-son, Tyler, died a preventable death on a People to People Student Program in Japan. Tyler would be alive if he could have received timely and appropriate medical attention. He died of dehydration less than 10 minutes from the Japanese Red Cross Hospital.
