Stefanie Gabel is vice president of DKG Media, LP. Prior to joining DKG, Ms. Gabel worked in the education arena in various capacities, including as a teacher in a high school for adjudicated boys, as an evaluator for various national youth-focused nonprofits, developing curriculum with the Carnegie Academy for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, and as an adjunct professor of multicultural education at Arcadia University. Ms. Gabel has published her work in the Journal of Youth Development and has presented at various professional conferences including the Pennsylvania Statewide Afterschool Youth Development Network and the University of Pennsylvania’s Ethnography in Education Research Forum. She holds a master’s degree in education, culture and society from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education and a bachelor of arts in Hispanic studies from the University of Pennsylvania’s College of Arts and Sciences. Currently Ms. Gabel is active in several nonprofit organizations serving at-risk youth, including Be A Mentor, Communities in Schools, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Carolina Youth Development Center, where she sits on the board.
