Jessica Camacho is a lifelong educator and former candidate for the San Bernardino County Board of Education, Area C in southern California. She earned a B.A. in History and Religious Studies, from the University of California, Berkeley; an Ed.M.(master’s in education) in Risk & Prevention from the Harvard Graduate School of Education; an (master’s in education) Ed.M. in Curriculum & Instruction; and a M.A. in Urban Leadership from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her breadth of education has given her a range of perspectives and lenses to many roles she has taken in the K-16 continuum. She currently runs the platform Canon Reclaimed dedicated to finding, discussing, and promoting quality diverse literature.
